Privacy notice
If Orygen Studio emailed you without you asking first, this page explains what we hold about you, where we got it, why, and how to make it stop.
Last updated October 10, 2026. This is the notice required by Article 14 of the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR for personal data not collected from you directly.
Want no more emails? Reply to any of our emails with “unsubscribe”, or write to gui@orygenstudio.com. We stop right away and keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so you are never added again.
Who we are
Orygen Studio makes ad concepts for ecommerce brands and agencies. It is run by Gui Fay, who is responsible for this data (the “controller”).
- Legal name: Guilherme Fay Ltda (CNPJ 44.200.381/0001-28)
- Postal address: Avenida Francisco Andrade, 264, Lavras, MG, 37200-238, Brazil
- Contact for anything privacy-related: gui@orygenstudio.com
What we hold about you
Only business contact details and public information about the company you work for:
- your name, job title, work email address and the company you work for;
- your company's website and its public ads (for example, in the Meta Ad Library);
- the emails we sent you, any replies, and the date of each.
We do not collect personal email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses or any sensitive data.
Where it came from
From publicly available sources: your company's own website, public professional profiles such as LinkedIn, the Meta Ad Library, and business contact databases that verify work email addresses. For each contact we record the source and the date we found it.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
To contact you, in your professional role, about a service that is relevant to that role: ad concepts for your company or its clients. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have weighed that interest against your rights: the data is limited to your work role, the volume of messages is small, and you can opt out at any time.
Our emails carry no tracking pixels, no attachments and no links in the first message. We do not use your data for anything else, and we never sell it.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers we use to run email: our email host (Google Workspace), the platform we use to send and pace outreach emails, and the service we use to verify work email addresses. They process the data on our behalf and under their own data processing terms.
Some of these providers are in the United States, and we work from Brazil, so your data may be handled outside the UK and the EEA. Where that happens, it is covered by the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum to them.
How long we keep it
- If you don't reply: deleted within 12 months of our last email.
- If we start working together: kept for as long as the work and our legal and tax obligations require.
- If you opt out: we delete everything except your email address, which stays on our do-not-contact list so we never contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, delete it or limit how we use it. You can also object to us using it at any time, and for direct marketing an objection always wins. Write to gui@orygenstudio.com and we will answer within one month, usually much sooner.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority: the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, or the authority of your country in the EU.
